Rubber Ducky Birthday - Altered Spools for JoAnn's Theme: "Vintage"

Here are the Altered Spools for JoAnn's Birthday Theme: "Vintage"

I made the first spool.  No stamping on this one.  The spool was painted pink and a cameo added, string of pearls, vintage lace, silk flowers, and a white feather.  I was happy with how it turned out.  I always use E600 glue so my projects won't fall apart.  I spend hours holding pieces in place while they dried.  The Lace, Flowers and Pearl Rhinestone Jewels  are from a Stampin' Up! kit.  I love the lace!!!:)

There is a white feather
behind the lace and flowers.

Dawn used her Dremel to hollow out the
inside of the spool and made it into a mini
treasure box. What a great and fun idea.

The hardware is a wonderful idea!
Such creativity!

just love the stick pins. Great idea!

Kathy does such a wonderful job
of altering anything!!!!

Sunflowers are JoAnn's favorite
flower.  Lovely!

Nicole loves Graphic 45 paper.  Love the vibrant
colors.

   Love the yellow roses!

And now for the grand finale... JoAnn is displaying her "Vintage" Birthday Spools in a configuration box on top of an antique hutch.  LOVE IT!

Two birthdays down, seven to go.  :)

Stamping Hugs!   Judy  :)
