Freak for All - July Control Freaks Blog Tour

Welcome to my first Control Freak Blog Tour.  I've been a Control Freak for many years but just got into the blogging world.  This month the Freaks are sharing  ideas from the new catalog, Holiday Mini and Convention swaps.  You should have just come from the blog of LeeAnn Greff.

My first card was inspired by my friend Lisa Horton.  I saw her card and had to make a really country Bootiful Occasions card.  All of the embossed card stock is sponged to help bring out the wonderful texture on this card.  It looks like embossed leather...and what a wonderful use of the Petite Pennants Builder punch.

  1. Great projects, Judy. I especially like the boot card with the coil of rope. Very creative, and what an awesome masculine card.

  2. You guys are killing me with all of those wonderful samples made with the boot set. I SO wish it was available in French... That brown background looks really great!

  3. The background on your boot card is so cool! All of these are outstanding!

  4. As usual, Judy, I love all your items!

  5. Congratulations. Your project has been chosen for Blog finds of the Day on 7/30. If you would like to see other projects chosen please visit

  6. Love the western themed card! And Field Flowers is really one of my favorite SU! florals -- and that's saying a lot! Your 3D swaps were undoubtedly a big hit!
